A Red Orchid Theatre Extends MISTAKES WERE MADE Through 10/31

By:

A Red Orchid Theatre announces the extension of the World Premiere of Mistakes Were Made by the Emmy-nominated writer of Six Feet Under Craig Wright and directed by Dexter Bullard.  The production, extended by two weeks, is now playing through October 31, 2009 at A Red Orchid Theatre, 1531 North Wells St.

Legendary producer Felix Artifex, played by Oscar-nominated actor and A Red Orchid Ensemble member Michael Shannon, gets in way over his fast-talking head when he takes on Mistakes Were Made, the first World Premiere of his long and chequered career. Mistakes is a gargantuan epic of the French Revolution which Felix thinks is going to be his ticket to professional and personal redemption. A compact gem of philosophy and funny-business from Craig Wright, the Emmy-nominated writer of Six Feet Under and the award-winning playwright of Lady, Grace, and The Pavilion.

Tickets cost $30; $20 for students on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:00 p.m..

For more information, phone the box office: (312) 943-8722 or visit www.aredorchidtheatre.org.
