24 Hour Play Festival Brings Excitement To Lincoln Park

Springboard Theater will hold its 3rd annual 24-Hour Play Festival on Saturday, Oct. 21, bringing 5 original plays and many new community members to their stage!
Writers, directors, and actors have from 7 p.m. on Friday, October 20th to 7 p.m.on Saturday, October 21st to write and produce 5 original plays.
"It's an exercise in theatrical survival, one that brings together a huge community of theatre lovers throughout the Chicago area to explore just what their creative minds can come up with" says Gabe Reiss, a veteran of the five writers.
The product of 5 plays written, directed, staged, and performed will be set for audiences at 7:30 pm on Saturday. Everything seen on stage is new, original, and extremely exciting. Can they do it?
