14th Annual Holiday Spectacular Comes to Lewis University

14th Annual Heritage Theatre Company (HTC) Christmas Spectacular will be performed on December 6 - 8 and is fun for the whole family. Evening performances are 7:30 p.m. In addition, there is a matinee performance at 4 p.m. on December 8. The show is 90 minutes of joyful music, skits, and audience participation merriment. Advanced ticket purchases are strongly encouraged.

Tickets are $10 for the general public, and $2 for Lewis students with an ID. Half price tickets are available with a donation of non-perishable foods to go to local shelters. Running time of the show is less than 90 minutes with an intermission. Tickets are non-refundable. The theatre is located on the main campus in the Oremus Fine Arts Center on Route 53, Romeoville.

Members of this year's ensamble cast include: Zachary Abu-Shanab of Plainfield, Christy Carlson of Lockport, Taylore Chephas of Chicago, Julia Egizio of Plainfield, Estefania Flores of Tinley Park, Katie Horn of Sturgis, MI, Alicia Iuliano of Tinley Park, Kristen Leano of Planfield, Julia Olexa of Palos Park, Kate O'Neil of Plano, Katy Papineau of Kankakee, Jessica Plewa of Joliet, Ted Veremis of Elk Grove Village, and Jamie Voustros of Chicago.

This show is concieved and directed by theatre department manager, Jo Slowik of Joliet. Associate Theatre professor and designer, Andrew Nelsen of Joliet provides the stagecraft magic. Resident costumer Celeste Mackey of Crest Hill, is providing her talents with the festive wardrobe. Working behind the scenes are Bradford Bingham of Chicago (stage manager), Rob Kornaus (assistant stage manager), Kayla Carson of Oak Lawn (properties manager), Fabian Bartos of Franklin Park (properties assistant), Joe Meskin of New Lenox (lighting designer), Mike Nutter of LaGrange (light board operator), Kevin Bukauski of Plano (sound designer and operator), Aileen O'Carroll (vocal director), Jordin Richards (choreographer), and Dave Pomatto of Naperville (assistant technical director). The front-of-house staff is provided by the HTC board members.
