Happy chilly April Tuesday, Chicago!

BroadwayWorld Chicago brings you 10 ON Tuesday, featuring artists in and around Chicago. This week's questionnaire participant - Christopher Pazdernik.

1) Your Name? Christopher Pazdernik

2) Where Are You From? Neenah, WI (where all the manhole covers are from!)

3) Currently Working On? Director/Choreographer of High Fidelity at Refuge Theatre Project which closed February 28 and Director/Choreographer of Applause at Porchlight Music Theatre Revisits Series which ran in March.

4) What's your dream production? A full production of Anyone Can Whistle starring Rebecca Finnegan (we did a concert version together at Porchlight a couple years ago).

5) Favorite post-performance haunt?
Cooper's

6) Living or dead, who would you drop everything to see perform? I have to pick just one? Impossible! But Carol Channing's near the top of the list. If anyone reading this hasn't seen the documentary about her, get thee to Netflix immediately!

7) Who's your biggest inspiration? Harold Prince, the pioneer of staging musicals in a cinematic fashion.

8) Describe the Chicago community in three words: Vibrant, audacious and inspiring.

9) Fill in the blank: "If I could change one thing about theatre in Chicago, it would be ... more theater companies willing to produce full productions of new musicals."

10) Fill in the blank: "The thing I'd never change about theatre in Chicago is ... our trademark ingenuity and entrepreneurship. I mean, we just produced a rock musical in a fucking loft!"

Christopher is an Artistic Associate with Porchlight.
