Jedlicka Performing Arts Center concludes its 2012-13 season with the Tony Award-winning Best MusicAl Monty Python's SPAMALOT with book and lyrics by Eric Idle, music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle, directed by Dante J. Orfei, music direction by John Warren and choreography by Christopher Pazdernik. Monty Python's SPAMALOT plays April 19 - May 4, 2013 at the Jedlicka Performing Arts Center, 3801 S. Central Ave. in Cicero. Tickets are currently available at www.jpactheatre.com or by calling (708) 656-1800. The press opening is Friday, April 19 at 7:30 pm.

The cast of Monty Python's SPAMALOT includes: Brett Baleskie, Anslee Burns, Kyle Cassady, Jacob Craig, Daniel Ermel, Tommy Lucas, Casi Maggio, Steve Malone, ELiza Morris, Kelsey Overberg, Patrick Perry, Lindsay Prerost, Russell Ramstrom, Charlie Rasmann, Caleb Scales, Andrew Sickel, Jamie Szynal, Jordan Taylor, Jameson Wentworth and Lucy Zukaitis.

Winner of three 2005 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Monty Python's SPAMALOT is the outrageous musical comedy lovingly ripped off from the film classic Monty Python and The Holy Grail. Follow the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail.

"Spamalot is a work which strikes a unique comic chord in its audiences," comments director Dante J. Orfei. "For some, it conjures their memories of that distinctive style humor on which they transitioned from adolescence into the adult world. For others, it is boundless satire of the Arthurian legends while it relentlessly jabs at the world of the Broadway musical theatre. The brilliance of its writing creates a delightful evening of theatre irrespective of what each audience member brings to the performance. All are destined to leave with a smile," adds Orfei.

The production team for Monty Python's SPAMALOT includes Michael Nedza (scenic & properties design, technical director), Lindsay Prerost (costume design), Micheal Kott (multimedia/sound design), Dante J. Orfei (lighting design), Peggy Ward (stage manager), Anna Garcia (asst. stage manager) and Melanie Lamoureux (managing director).
