The Davidson Community Players will produce the musical Chicago. In roaring twenties Chicago, Roxie Hart murders her faithless lover. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another "Merry Murderess" Velma Kelly vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the "American Dream"– fame, fortune and acquittal. Tickets are required, and may be purchased at the Davidson Community Players website, www.davidsoncommunityplayers.org. Performances begin at 8 p.m. in the Duke Family Performance Hall excluding the performances of June 21 and 27, which begin at 2 p.m. For more information contact jobarnhart@davidson.edu
