The Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Spirit Square has invited Linda Ann Watt to teach a Master Class--Acting & Scene Study using "Method" techniques for adults.

Watt is a SAG member, owner of Corlin Productions, a union signatory Production Company and a past board member of Women in Film in Los Angeles. She attended the NewYork Academy of Theatrical Arts under scholarship and Stella Adler Conservatory. She later studied with Milton Katselas (director, Butterflies are Free) and went on to study "Method" with Lorrie Hull, Ph.D., "Master Teacher" for Lee Strasberg. Through Corlin Productions, Watt produced The Method based on Stanislavski and Strasberg for Hull. It is the only educational teaching tool on method acting approved by Strasberg.

The 12 sessions meet weekly, Thursday at 7:00 P.M., starting March 10th. Learn sense memory, relaxation exercises, voice, improvisation and in-depth scene study using substitution, personalization, intent, creative hiding and physical action. Strasberg, Meisner, Adler and Katselas teachings will be explored. Learn "on camera" cold reading and the audition process with a final showcase performance at the Duke Energy Theatre on June 2nd.
