WBTV.com reports that HAMILTON has settled on run dates at Charlotte, North Carolina's Belk Theatre. HAMILTON will run for 32 performances from October 10th to November 4th.

The Broadway blockbuster is topping a season that is groundbreaking for the Blumenthal Performing Arts center. This is the first time the center is receiving three Tony winners less than a year out from their Tony wins. The other two shows are best play winner THE HUMANS and best revival winner THE COLOR PURPLE.

Blumenthal president and CEO Tom Gabbard commented on the loaded season saying, "I think Broadway is in a golden era right now. That's partly (led) to creating the biggest season we've had. And 19 new musicals will open on Broadway this season, so it won't be too long before Charlotte gets the benefit from those."

Tickets for HAMILTON will be available to subscribers first, but tickets may still be available after subscription sales. The show will also continue its $10 lottery with 40 tickets held for each performance.

To find out more about the upcoming Broadway Lights season which also includes WAITRESS, LOVE NEVER DIES, SCHOOL OF ROCK, BRIGHT STAR and more, check out Blumenthal's season announcement here.

HAMILTON is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation's first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, as told by America now.

With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow's biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. The musical won eleven 2016 Tony Awards ®including Best Musical, Score, Book of a Musical, Direction of a Musical, Choreography and Orchestrations. Mr. Miranda received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for Hamilton.
