"Puffs: Or, Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic" follows the adventures of a boy who has just learned he's a wizard and is off to magic school. Not that boy. A different boy. Wayne Hopkins finds himself placed with the Puffs: those loyal and true of heart students who mostly just want to make friends and avoid unnecessary conflict. Wayne's mind is filled with aspirations of being the "chosen one" who will make a difference in his school, but what to do when there's another "chosen one" getting all the credit? Puffs is a hilarious take on a certain popular heptalogy (that's a series of 7 books for those of you not sorted into the "Smarts") that examines what it feels like to be a secondary character in someone else's story.
