Reading Theater Project Presents Its Fourth Five-Minute Fringe Theater Festival

The Reading Theater Project, whose mission is to create original theater productions, will produce its fourth Five-Minute Fringe Theater Festival, Feb. 22-24, 2019, at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education's Schumo Theatre, 3000 Penn Ave., West Lawn, Pa.

2019's fringe theater festival, Finding Home, will kick-off Reading Theater Project's season-long theme of the same name. This year, artists will present original, five-minute plays and performances, utilizing the theme and set pieces as a common connection. The festival will include more than 30 local and regional artists onstage and behind the scenes throughout the three-day festival.

Artists include: Jayne Brown, Christine Cieplinski, John Gancar, Vicki Haller Graff, Emily Hannon, Chris Heslop, Beverly Houck, Amie Vanite Kincade, Jessica Warchal King, Sue Lange, Kirk Lawrence, Santo Marabella, David Nice, Robin Payne, Andrew Pochan, Adam Richter, Sean Sassaman, Rachel Skye, Kristen Stubblebine, Lauren White, Amy Young and the Yocum Teen Ensemble.


Ticket prices are $15. There will be mature content, and parental supervision and discretion is suggested for young audience members.

The Reading Theater Project is a multigenerational collective of performing artists who create new theater in Reading, Pa.
