Little Theater of Mechanicsburg Presents THREE VIEWINGS, Beginning Tonight

Little Theater of Mechanicsburg presents the serio-comedy Three Viewings by Jeffrey Hatcher opening March 6, 2015 with an opening night reception for attendees. Evening performances continue today, March 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21 and Sunday matinees are March 15 and 22. All tickets for this play are $15.00, and evening performances begin at 8:00 PM; matinees begin Sundays at 2:30 PM.

This engaging play is three shows in one - all set in a funeral parlor somewhere in the USA. Through laughter, longing and surprise, three stories interweave and reveal the lengths people go to in order to hold onto memories, love...and money. Playwright, Jeffrey Hatcher, has created three complex characters with wonderful dialog and rich storylines with a twist. Emil is a mild mannered undertaker with an unspoken passion that must be proclaimed before it's too late. Mac is a drifter who makes a living stealing jewelry from the deceased. And Virginia is the widow of a wheeler-dealer contractor who's left her in the lurch - and in debt with everyone, including the mob...

Anyone who has attended a viewing has had a variety of experiences, but these folks are having an exceptional range of experiences. Don't miss the performances of Jonathan Morgan, Susan Wray Danowitz and Kathy Luft as they take you to the viewings of their family members and friends.

Director Chris Krahulec first became aware of this script as a student at Oklahoma State University. She thought to herself back then, "I would really like to see a production of this script performed by actors in the correct age ranges and in Pennsylvania." She is very happy to have the opportunity to do both in this production.
