Look out, Broadway investors-America's newest theater angel is only 10 years old. York County resident Sophie Nicholson earned money for charity this summer by running the proverbial lemonade stand, and made a profit for two groups, the SPCA and DreamWrights Youth & Family Theatre.

Sophie sold enough lemonade to give part of her proceeds to help animals, and the remainder, $60.52, to York's DreamWrights. She presented the money to theatre executive director Ann Davis.

DreamWrights was founded in 1997 to provide quality theatre education to York area children.  It has grown to feature actors of all ages and family participation in the theatrical experience.  Its next presentation, in September, will be Twelve Angry Jurors, based upon the television movie by Reginald Rose. Auditions will be held in October for the upcoming production of Annie.  For more information, consult the web page at www.dreamwrights.org.
