All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 at Calvary Presbyterian Church

Vanguard Productions is proud to present their remount of All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 by Peter Rothstein with Music by Erick Lichte and Timothy C. Takach. After a sold out concert version in 2022, Vanguard is bringing this story of peace and goodwill back in a fully staged production. Set in the opening months of the First World War, All is Calm recounts the true story of British and German troops that are sent to the Western Front, see the horrors of war, and decide lay down their arms and meet in in No Man's Land and celebrate Christmas together. This show features Christmas Carols, patriotic songs of the early 20th century, and first hand account of the men who took part in the truce. Featuring many returning cast members, along with new faces!

All is Calm is directed by Joshua Pohja with Music Direction by Adam Qutaishat. The cast features Jake Badovski, Elliott Brotherhood, Isaac Brust, Kai DeRubis, Tomás Domíguez, King Hang, F. Marvin Hannah Jr., Jared Brandt Hoover, Dan Kerkman, George Lorimer, Joe Nolan, and Joe Picchetti. Voice and Text Coachings by Jayne Pink. Lighting Design by AntiShadows, LLC. Vanguard's Production of All is Calm plays from 12/1-12/10 at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Milwaukee, WI. The show runs approximately one hour and fifteen minutes with no intermission. Tickets are on sale here:
