The Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival is proud to produce the regional premiere of "Tenderly: The Rosemary Clooney Musical." The show opened on October 5 and runs through October 19 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse as part of the Festival's 2016 season.

"Tenderly: The Rosemary Clooney Musical" celebrates the life and musical stylings of the musical legend, Rosemary Clooney. The show brings Clooney's world to life as it offers a personal and poignant picture of the woman whose countless hits and chart toppers made her an American icon.

Jennifer Swiderski, who recently appeared on Broadway in Mamma Mia!, and who has toured nationally and internationally in The Drowsy Chaperone, Smokey Joe's Café, and Newsical will take on the role of Rosemary Clooney. The role of Clooney's doctor will be played by Scott Guthrie, who appeared as Oscar Wilde in A Man of No Importance at B-Sides Productions and who has worked regionally at Barnstormers Theatre, Theatre by the Sea, and Stages St. Louis.

"Tenderly: The Rosemary Clooney Musical" is directed and choreographed by Douglas S. Hall, with musical direction by Jeff Cox. The scenic design is by Czerton Lim, costume design by Tiffany Howard, lighting design by Mark Romig and sound design by John Emmett O'Brien.
