STONELEAF is pleased to announce their first open call for the 2018 residency program, which invites women artists to apply. This upcoming program is open to women artists of all disciplines, however preference will be given to artists with a focus on social practice. The deadline is February 28th, 2018 and successful applicants will be notified in March.

The 2018 program will consist of four residencies for twelve artists in total, running from April to August 2018. Dinner will be provided each evening to encourage the exchange of ideas in a welcoming, connective and supportive environment. Invited artists and arts professionals will visit for dinner and studio visits. Each residency will culminate with open studios, which will be open to the public.

STONELEAF provides shared accommodation, private bedrooms, and large shared studio spaces. There are over 20 acres of land to enjoy, which includes forest trails, a stream and a pond, a tennis court and other outdoor activities. The towns of Woodstock and Kingston are nearby and weekly trips are scheduled to gather supplies.

Further information about the application and last year's artists-in-residence (Leah Dixon, Macon Reed and Mia Taylor) can be found at www.stoneleafretreat.com.
