The Rochester Broadway Theater League has announced their 2010-2011 M&T Bank Broadway Season at the Auditorium Theatre (885 East Main St.). The season will kick off with A CHORUS LINE in October and conclude with a staging of WEST SIDE STORY in June of 2011. For tickets and more information, visit www.rbtl.org

A CHORUS LINE (Oct. 5-10)

Broadway gypsies bare their souls and put their lives "on the line" as they audition for an unnamed Broadway musical. The 1975 show won the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Musical. The score includes "What I Did for Love," "The Music and the Mirror," "At the Ballet" and "Dance Ten, Looks Three."

YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (Nov. 9-14)

Mel Brook's wickedly inspired re-imagining of the Frankenstein legend follows bright young Dr. Frankenstein (that's Fronkensteen) as he attempts to create a monster - but not without scary and hilarious complications. The brains behind the laughter is mad genius and three-time Tony winner Mel Brooks himself-who wrote the music and lyrics and co-wrote the book-along with his record-breaking team from THE PRODUCERS: five-time Tony-winning director and choreographer Susan Stroman and three-time Tony-winning writer Thomas Meehan.

IN THE HEIGHTS (Jan. 25-30)

N THE HEIGHTS is a new musical about three days in the life of Washington Heights, a vibrant and tight knit community at the top of the island of Manhattan. It's a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. Created by a team of New York's freshest young talents, IN THE HEIGHTS is the tale of a community at a crossroads. Find out what it takes to make a living, what it costs to have a dream, and what it means to be home IN THE HEIGHTS.

DISNEY'S THE LION KING (Mar. 22 to Apr. 17)

THE LION KING tells the story of the epic adventures of a young lion cub named Simba as he struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destined role as king.

WEST SIDE STORY (May 31 to June 5)

From the first notes to the final breath, WEST SIDE STORY is one of the most memorable musicals and greatest love stories of all time. Mr. Laurents' book remains as powerful, poignant and timely as ever. The score by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim - a collection of standards that includes "Tonight," "America," "Maria," "I Feel Pretty" and "Somewhere" - is widely regarded as one of the best ever written.
