Lagond's Live! Presents an Adult Funk/Soul Jam

TONIGHT! Lagond's LIVE! from the haven (9 Haven Street, Elmsford, NY) presents its Funk/Soul Jam from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm! Join host Charlie Lagond alongside Leroy Chisholm on drums, Paul Maddison on guitar, and multi-instrumentalist Jon Swift on anything he can get his hands on... as they welcome special guests Lizz Double-z Chisholm on bass and Rob Aries on keys! Spectators are welcome.
Double-Z is known world around for being the first hip-hop bass player. She has toured with Grand Master, Melle Mel and the Furious Five, Kid Creole and the CoConuts and many more.
Rob Aries is a world-class piano player that has toured and recorded with artists such as guitarist John Scofield, the "world jazz" group Special EFX, saxophonist Bill Evans, and singers Liza Minnelli, Melba Moore and FrEddie Jackson. Aries currently tours with the Average White Band.Lagond Music School hosts free adult jam session nights for players of all levels and offers a place for musicians to congregate. Anyone with a desire to play, 18+ over, can join the jam on stage and sit in with peers as well as have an opportunity to meet and play with professional musicians.
