Kitchen Theatre Hosts Live HOLIDAY MATCH GAME

Kitchen Theatre Company (KTC) will deck the halls with laughter as Ithaca-famous celebrities take the stage for the Live KTC Holiday Match Game, hosted by Kitchen Theatre favorite actor Karl Gregory. The party will include nice food, naughty drinks, live music, an ugly sweater contest, and a seat at the show. Join the fun two nights only: December 16 at 5:00 PM & December 17 at 7:00 PM.

The Match Game is an American television game show in which two contestants try to match the answers given by a 6-celebrity panel. It first aired on NBC in the 1960s and was hosted by Gene Rayburn, who continued as host when it was revived in the 70s on CBS. In its latest reboot on ABC, The Match Game is hosted by Alec Baldwin, who wrangles a panel comprised of 6 rowdy actors, singers, producers, sports stars, and comedians while two contestants compete against one another in two rounds to "match" their answers with members of the panel. The first contestant to reach the designated number of matches moves on to the next round.

The KTC version will feature an 8-celebrity panel made up of your favorite local stars-a different bunch each night of the event! The 2018 Democratic Congressional candidate for New York's 23rd District Tracy Mitrano joins us Sunday night. Joining her are dueling mayors Svante Myrick (Ithaca) and Rordan Hart (Trumansburg), Ithaca comedian Kenneth McLaurin, House of Merlot's Coraline Chardonnay, Fitz&Startz Productions' favorite little stinker Mike Cyr, former Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce President and laugh consultant Jean McPheeters, and the Kitchen's resident funny woman Shelley Blackler. On Monday, much of the panel returns with the addition of Tompkins County Legislator Leslyn McBean-Clairborne, local performer Erica Steinhagen, and the loveable President and CEO of Tompkins Trust Company, Greg Hartz.

Tickets are $50 each. Put some mingle in your jingle! If your office or department is searching for creative holiday party ideas, let the Kitchen do the work! Attend the KTC Holiday Celebration and skip the planning! Contact Stephen at (607) 272-0403 for discounted group ticket rates.

All proceeds from this benefit event will provide vital support for the Kitchen's bold, intimate, and engaging theatrical and community programs.

This event is made possible by generous sponsors: Howard Hannah Real Estate agent Karen Eldredge, NYSEG, Maguire Family of Dealerships, Linz Real Estate, Liquid State Brewing Company, and Eve's Cidery.
