Eve Plumb Joins Cast Of Geva's STEEL MAGNOLIAS ImageGeva Theatre Center announces that Eve Plumb, best remembered as Jan Brady in "The Brady Bunch" will play the role of 'Clairee' in Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling, the closing production of Geva's 45th ESL / Rochester Regional Health Wilson Stage Season.

Six sassy southern spitfires gather every week to gossip, swap recipes and support each other through thick and thin. Heartwarming and humorous, Steel Magnolias is a story of love, loss, and enduring friendship.

Eve Plumb started her acting career at age six performing in many television shows and commercials and although she is most well-known to television viewers from "The Brady Bunch," her range of work demonstrates an extreme versatility. Eve studied improv comedy at The Groundlings School in Los Angeles. Stage credits include Off-Broadway, Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's Love, Loss, and What I Wore and Miss Abigail's Guide to Dating, Mating & Marriage, and regional theatre work throughout the United States. Eve has proudly been part of two "Broadway Backwards" performances for Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids. Recent credits include Mrs. Murdock in "Grease Live;" "Blue Bloods;" "The Path;" "Law and Order: SVU;" "Army Wives" and the film Blue Ruin (Winner Cannes Directors' Fortnight, Sundance Spotlight Festival, Independent Spirit nominee). She is currently filming the feature Monsoon. Eve is also an accomplished painter.

Further casting and the creative team will be announced in April. Steel Magnolias begins on May 8 and runs through June 3. Tickets are available through the Geva Box Office: 232-Geva (4382) or online at www.gevatheatre.org.

The 2017-2018 Wilson Stage Series is sponsored by ESL Federal Credit Union and Rochester Regional Health. The Honorary Wilson Stage Series Sponsor is Dr. Dawn Lipson. Steel Magnolias is produced with support by Co-Producer Rockcastle Florist, Associate Producers St John's Rochester and Madeleine's Catering, and Media Sponsor WARM 101.3.
