Early Bird Tickets Available for CRT's 'Fiddler on the LOOSE' Dinner Theatre

By:

Only a few days are left to purchase discounted "Early Bird" tickets to the Cortland Repertory Theatre Guild's annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre coming up in March. This annual fund raiser promises big laughs, great food and a touch of mystery in the elegant setting of the Cortland Ramada Inn Ballroom at 2 River Street, near exit 11 off Route 81. Four hysterical performances of the interactive comedy "Fiddler on the Loose!" are scheduled: Saturday March 9, Sunday March 10 at a new matinee time, and then two weeks later on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23. Doors open at 6:30 PM for the evening shows, and 2:00 PM for the matinee show on Sunday, March 10.

In this hilarious interactive show, the milkman Skeevya and his family have been forced to leave their beloved Little Village of Havavodka and immigrate to America. The quaint Russian countryside has been replaced by the bright lights of New York City and the old world traditions have been replaced by the new world permissions. In fact, Skeevya now has a new job - with the Russian mafia! At last he is a rich man, but how long can it last? Remember: you're gonna get a little on ya when you're playing in the borscht! The hilarious Acme Mystery Company from Syracuse will perform this entertaining, interactive show of suspense and laughter accompanied by a delicious buffet meal in the elegant surroundings of the Ramada Inn ballroom.

The show is suitable for ages 12 and up and prizes are given to the top detectives who solved the mystery and also to the worst crime-solvers who completely miss the point.

Tickets are available at an "Early Bird" price of $50.00 per person until February 1st, after which the price will be $55.00 each. Ticket price includes a welcome reception with hors d'oeuvres at 6:30 pm, a cash bar, dinner and the performance beginning at 7:00. Tickets can be purchased at Jodie's Hallmark on Main Street in Cortland, at the CRT Box Office, 24 Port Waston Street in downtown Cortland or by phone by calling 800-427-6160. All proceeds benefit CRT Guild's support of the theatre. So shake off the winter doldrums and join in the fun while supporting CRT's fantastic Guild!
