The Cortland Repertory Theatre in Little York, New York is currently presenting THE PAJAMA GAME.  The production will run through July 24.

This classic, high energy musical, with book by George Abbott and Richard Bissell and score by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, bristles with fun and SSSsssteam as it tells the tale of a seemingly impossible romance between a factory foreman and the head of the worker's union at the Sleep-Tite Pajama Factory. The playing field is leveled for the smoldering tug of war between Babe Williams (the union rep) and Sid Soroken (the new superintendant) as they juggle their disagreement over a 7 1/2 cent raise and their own wild attraction for each other. This immortal and frisky score features the sultry dance numbers "Steam Heat" and "Hernando's Hideaway" as well as popular standards "Hey There" and "I'm Not At All In Love."

The Theatre's upcoming productions include BRIGADOON and SIX DANCE LESSONS IN SIX WEEKS.
