Clint Black Returns to Patchogue Theatre This September!

Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) is proud to present the return of award winning country music artist Clint Black on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. following his sold out performance at Patchogue Theatre in 2016.

It is one of the most storied careers in modern music. Clint Black surged to superstardom as part of the fabled Class of '89, reaching number one with five consecutive singles from his triple-platinum debut, "Killin' Time." He followed that with the triple-platinum "Put Yourself in My Shoes," and then a string of platinum and gold albums throughout the '90s.

Perhaps most impressively, Clint Black wrote or co-wrote every one of his more than three dozen chart hits, including "A Better Man," "Where Are You Now," "When My Ship Comes In," "A Good Run of Bad Luck," "Summer's Comin'," "Like the Rain"and "Nothin' But the Taillights," part of a catalog that produced 22 #1 singles and made him one of the most successful singer/songwriters of the modern era.

Along the way, Clint Black has sold over 20 million records, earned more than a dozen gold and platinum awards in the United States and Canada, landed nearly two dozen major awards and nominations, including more than a dozen GRAMMY nominations, and earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Patchogue Theatre first opened in 1923 as the largest theatre in Suffolk County. It still is, with the installation of 1,106 brand new seats during the 2016 renovation. Saved by Village of Patchogue in 1996 and lovingly restored it to its original grandeur, this beautiful and historic venue was in use 230 days with over 150,000 in attendance for its 2016-2017 season. PTPA is an independent community-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that leases the building from the Village of Patchogue and covers all of the operating costs without any subsidies from the Village. PTPA's leadership consists of a volunteer board of directors and a small professional staff.
