YMCA Camp Shady Brook

YMCA Camp Shady Brook is an overnight camp in Deckers, Colorado, set within Pike National Forest about an hour and a half west of Colorado Springs. It is owned and operated by the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed by the State of Colorado. Summer options for ages 6 to 17 include Traditional Camp, Adventure Camp, the Horsemaster equestrian program, Mini-Aspen and Aspen camps, a Music Empowerment Camp, partnership camps and a teen leadership program. The camp emphasizes a personalized experience with a mix of personal-choice activities and scheduled programming. Facilities include waterfront activities, challenge and adventure courses, zip-lining, equestrian facilities, a dining hall and lodging, which also host retreats, family camp and outdoor education.
