About this camp
Wisconsin Theater Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Racine County, Wisconsin that runs production-based summer theater camps for young people ages 9 to 18. Campers take part in acting, musical theater song and dance, and technical theater including stage crew, design, and construction, experiencing the full arc of a production from the first rehearsal through a fully produced performance with lights, sound effects, music, sets, and costumes. The organization offers a three-week summer musical camp and a one-week summer drama camp, plus year-round classes and workshops, junior and college internships, and the Mary Pat Sutherland scholarship. The 2026 three-week camp stages Disney's Newsies JR. at Clarendon Elementary School in Mukwonago, with camp weeks in July and performances July 24-26, 2026.
The 2026 three-week camp is held at Clarendon Elementary School, 915 Clarendon Ave, Mukwonago, WI, and produces Disney's Newsies JR. Junior (camper) and college internships are available, as is the Mary Pat Sutherland scholarship.
