THE NATURE PLACE DAY CAMP - CAMP INFORMATION

The Nature Place Day Camp is an ACA accredited, nature-oriented and non-competitive summer day camp for children ages 4-16, located on 200 acres in Rockland County, New York. Campers come to us (we bus) from Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Rockland, Westchester and Bergen counties. A typical day at camp is built around playing, learning, and growing outdoors, with friends, through hands-on, pressure-free programming supported by a well-trained staff.

Our campus is a green oasis in Rockland County, made up of 200 acres of fields, forests, farmland, orchards, gardens, ponds, and streams. Our indoor spaces are, however, equally beautiful and plentiful! The Green Meadow Waldorf School buildings feature unique architecture, lovely murals, and tons of natural light. Spaces include a music room, a gymnasium, a dance and movement studio, a kitchen for our cooking activity, and a room (or tipi!) for each group of campers to call home.
