Syracuse Childrens Theatre

Syracuse Children's Theatre is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization at 700 West Manlius Street in East Syracuse, New York, offering year-round musical theatre classes for children from Pre-K through 12th grade. Programming includes semester-long spring and fall classes, week-long February and April break camps, and summer camps, with all courses culminating in a production or public performance. The organization also runs a special education program, a summer dance program, and hosts birthday parties. Summer 2026 productions included Les Miserables, Descendants, Willy Wonka, The Addams Family and Dare to Dream, with Moana Jr. staged in fall 2026. Founder and Executive Director Todd Ellis notes more than 25 years of operation and that many alumni have gone on to work professionally in theatre. The theatre is supported by the Gifford Foundation, CNY Arts, NYSCA and other regional funders.
