Summer Theatre Camps at Lake Country Playhouse & Academy

Lake Country Playhouse & Academy in Hartland, Wisconsin runs a Summer Youth Theatre Academy of week-long camps and productions for young performers, with no audition required. Mini Musical Camps for ages 4 and up explore songs and scenes from popular musicals, meeting Monday through Friday for two hours a day and finishing with a short Friday performance; each week is capped at 20 students. The 2026 weeks are Matilda (August 3-7) and Camp Rock (August 10-14), each offered in a 9-11am session for ages 4+ and a 12-2pm session for ages 8-14+. A separate Burn Book Boot Camp musical intensive for ages 10 and up covers scene work and improv, dance and movement, and music and vocal performance across three Mean Girls-themed weeks. Tuition is $165 per camp with multi-camp and sibling discounts. The Playhouse is operated by Lake Country Players, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit.
