School of Rock Orangeburg

School of Rock Orangeburg operates at 135 East Erie Street in Blauvelt, New York, across from Bailey's Smokehouse. Its performance-based programs pair a weekly private lesson with a weekly group band rehearsal. Rookies introduces ages 6-7 to chords, rhythm and song structure; Rock 101 (ages 8-13) teaches beginners using simplified classic rock songs; and the Performance Program (ages 8-18) assigns tailored songs and parts, with bands playing live shows at area venues every few months. Songwriting is offered from age 12 and an Adult Program serves students 18 and over. Instruction covers guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals, and School of Rock Remote provides online one-on-one lessons. Students may audition for the House Band or the national AllStars tour.
