School of Rock Eden Prairie

School of Rock Eden Prairie is a performance-based music school serving Eden Prairie and nearby communities including Shakopee, Edina and Chaska. Its programs pair a weekly private lesson with a weekly group band rehearsal. Little Wing (ages 4-5) and Rookies (ages 6-7) introduce rhythm, song structure and simplified rock instruments; Rock 101 (ages 8-13) moves beginners onto a chosen instrument; and the Performance Program (ages 8-18) places students in bands that play local venues every few months. A Songwriting program is offered from age 12 and an Adult Program for students 18 and over. Guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocal instruction is available at beginner through advanced levels. Selected students may audition for the school's House Band or the national AllStars summer tour. The school is open Monday through Thursday afternoons plus weekends.
