School of Rock Boulder

School of Rock Boulder is a performance-based music school on 28th Street in Boulder, Colorado that has operated since 2009. Its year-round programs combine one-on-one instruction on guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals with group band rehearsals, so students learn music by preparing for live performances rather than practicing in isolation. The location runs themed week-long day camps through the year: 2026 sessions include a Metal Camp June 15-19, a Rockers Choice Teen Week Camp July 13-17 and a Modern Rock Camp August 3-7, each running 9:00am to 2:00pm at $579 per week. Camps are open to a range of skill levels and typically end with campers performing the music they rehearsed during the week.
