School of Rock Ann Arbor

School of Rock Ann Arbor runs day music camps at 6101 Jackson Road in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Its five-day Songwriting Camp (July 20-24, 2026, 9:00am to 3:00pm, $550) is for students ages 10-18 with some previous instruction. Campers analyze notable compositions of the past 60 years and learn chord progressions, arrangement and other songwriting techniques, then write their own material Monday through Friday, culminating in a live performance. Campers may participate on bass, drums, guitar, keys or vocals. The school also offers year-round performance-based programs that combine weekly private lessons with group band rehearsals for children, teens and adults.
