Reel Adventures is a two-week introductory filmmaking camp for ages 10-14, run by the Collaborative School of the Arts in the Fenimore Gallery at Proctors in Schenectady, New York. Young storytellers work through the full moviemaking process — brainstorming and scripting, then filming, editing, and finally watching their finished work on screen. The program suits students interested in directing, acting for camera, or editing, and gives them hands-on tools and technique to craft their own cinematic stories. The camp meets weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and culminates in a public showcase screening on the final Friday. Instruction in 2026 was led by Albany-area filmmaker David Daniel Hosannah. Tuition assistance is available.
