About this camp
Camp Modin is a traditional Jewish overnight summer camp for children ages 7-16 in Maine's Belgrade Lakes region. Founded in 1922, the camp describes itself as the oldest continuously operating Jewish camp in the United States and is marking its 105th season. The program offers professional instruction in more than 70 athletic, waterfront, creative arts and wilderness activities, along with specialized programs for teens. Facilities include an expansive waterfront with tournament ski boats, a fitness pavilion, a teen lounge, a rustic lodge and a recreation center. Full season and half session enrollment options are available, along with transportation to camp. Online enrollment, campus tours and information requests are handled through the camp website. Camp Modin is operated by KEF Camping Co. Inc.
