Imagination Stage Theatre Arts Camps

Imagination Stage is a theatre arts organization for children and youth based in the Jim and Carol Trawick building in downtown Bethesda, Maryland. Its summer camps run one to four weeks for ages 4 through 18 at sites in Bethesda, Rockville, and Northwest Washington, DC. Camp disciplines include acting and musical theatre, performance camps that culminate in a production, dance, filmmaking, and early childhood programs, with extended care available. The organization emphasizes equitable access, providing inclusion supports so campers of all abilities can participate, and offers payment plans and financial aid. Alongside camps and year-round classes, Imagination Stage produces a professional season of family theatre and runs community programs including Theatre for Change and in-school residencies.

Camps are held at Imagination Stage in Bethesda plus additional sites including American University, Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School, and Takoma Elementary School.
