Highland Park and Metuchen Musical Theater Camps

Ferrell Studios Community Theatre, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Metuchen, New Jersey, runs camps, classes and performance-based arts education in Central New Jersey in partnership with Fresh Theatre Arts. Summer musical theatre camps meet for one week at the Greenhouse Loft, 431 Raritan Avenue (Second Floor) in Highland Park. Students rehearse scenes and songs from a chosen title with instruction in acting, dance and voice from professional teaching artists, and each week concludes with a final performance for friends and family. A dance camp covers a variety of styles, building strength, coordination, musicality and choreography, and ends with an informal in-studio showcase. No previous experience is required, and the studio says year-round classes, workshops and audition prep are planned for the future.
