Frozen Jr.

Encore South Bay is a youth theatre organization in Torrance, California that runs performance-based and non-performance summer camps. For summer 2026 it lists four options: a one-week non-performance K-Pop Demon Hunters camp (July 20-24, ages 5-11); two 2.5-week performance camps, The Lion King Jr. (June 24 - July 10, ages 5-13) and Matilda Jr. (July 29 - August 14, ages 5-13, sold out); and a four-week Mean Girls High School Edition (June 22 - July 17, for students entering 6th grade through age 17). Frozen Jr., the title in this record, was a prior-season camp and is not part of the 2026 lineup. Performance campers audition, rehearse and stage a full junior musical, learning vocal harmonies and choreography from professional staff and working with full costumes, sets, professional sound and lighting. Rehearsals are held at Encore's studio at 25318 Crenshaw Blvd. in Torrance, with tech and performance days at nearby performing arts centers.

Frozen Jr. is not offered in 2026. The 2.5-week performance camps are priced at $950 for 2026 (a $300 deposit at registration, balance charged May 1). Rehearsals are at the Encore studio in Torrance; performances are at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center or the El Segundo Performing Arts Center.
