Discover Shakespeare (Elementary School)

Discover Shakespeare is a one-week half-day camp from The Globe School at Actors' Theatre of Columbus for students entering grades 1-5, held July 20-24, 2026 from 9am to 12:30pm. The camp makes Shakespeare accessible and fun for young performers, who explore the language, characters and stories of the Bard through theatre games and scene work. Tuition is $250 per student; the code 2CAMPS takes $50 off each camp when two or more are purchased, and need-based scholarships are available by application. Actors' Theatre of Columbus programs its Globe School camps alongside its free outdoor summer season in Schiller Park, which in 2026 included The Taming of the Shrew, Peter and the Starcatcher and Othello.
