Creativity Camps of Nashville

Nashville Children's Theatre, the oldest children's theatre in the United States, runs week-long summer drama camps at its 25 Middleton Street facility in Nashville. Camps serve ages 4 to 14 and are organized around weekly themes; 2026 themes included musical theatre, Around the World, Fairytales/Myths and Legends, Swinter and Time Travel, running June 29 through July 31. Students build core performance skills such as acting fundamentals, vocal projection, physical awareness and improvisation through games, scenes and creative exercises, while developing confidence, collaboration and stage presence in an ensemble setting. Camps meet five days a week from 9am to 3pm, with early drop-off and late pick-up from 7:30am to 5:30pm. An Emerging Artists company production track runs across four weeks. Financial assistance is available through the theatre's Family Access Membership program.

Early drop-off and late pick-up available 7:30am-5:30pm. Campers bring a snack, lunch and water. Scholarships are offered through the Family Access Membership (FAM) program; summer FAM applications open in mid-February. Registration is handled online.
