Cheley Colorado

Cheley Colorado Camps is an overnight camp in Estes Park, Colorado, owned by the same family since 1921 and set on a 1,400-acre campus in the Rocky Mountains. The flagship program is a 27-day session for campers ages 9 to 17, offered in two terms and divided into eight single-gender units by age, each with 57 to 70 campers and its own lodge, boathouse and living spaces. Activities include outdoor adventure and hiking, horseback riding, climbing and a challenge course, creative arts and crafts, and land and water sports. Shorter options are Quarter B-4, a four-night August program for 8- to 10-year-olds, and a five-day Family Camp. Four on-site health centers are staffed by licensed medical professionals, and staff complete more than ten days of training before campers arrive. Tuition covers activities, lodging, meals, weekly laundry, equipment and on-site medical care; financial assistance is offered mainly through the partner organization A Thousand Summers.

Quarter B-4 is a four-night program for ages 8-10 (Pikas age 8, Marmots ages 9-10). Family Camp is a five-day program for families. 2027 enrollment opens October 1 at 10am MT.
