Carroll County Arts Camp

The Carroll County Arts Council runs annual children's summer camps at the Carroll Arts Center in downtown Westminster, Maryland, offering a variety of creative experiences for a range of ages. Camp sessions are posted each winter, with members receiving priority registration through the end of February and general public registration opening March 1. Payment in full is required to reserve a space, and members of the Arts Council, corporate member employees and Arts Alliance members receive a discount. Children under 18 who need financial aid may apply for assistance through the Tom Holder Memorial Scholarship Fund, which gives priority to households with combined income under $35,000. Students interested in the arts may also apply to serve as volunteer camp counselors, which requires a training day and counts toward community service hours.

Payment in full is required at registration. CCAC members receive priority registration through February 28; general public registration opens March 1. After registering online, families receive an emergency contact form to return at least two weeks before camp. Volunteer counselor positions (typically ages 13-18) are available.
