Camps Kenwood & Evergreen

Camps Kenwood and Evergreen are brother-sister overnight camps on a private lake in Wilmot, New Hampshire, independently owned and operated since 1930 and directed by Jack Schott. Kenwood serves boys and Evergreen serves girls, with each side capped at about 130 campers at a time; the camps report a roughly 2.3-to-1 camper-to-counselor ratio, a 75 percent return rate and more than 40 activity options including team sports, visual and performing arts, rock climbing and waterskiing. The camps are deliberately screen-free and run long sessions, with boys and girls in separate programs and lodges but shared traditions such as Color War breakouts and evening events. Full-summer tuition covers the season from late June to mid-August; limited half-summer places are available to campers who have completed grades 2 through 7, and a one-week Rookie Week introduces rising 2nd and 3rd graders. Kenwood and Evergreen are accredited by the American Camp Association.

A limited number of campers who have completed grades 2 through 7 may elect half-summer sessions; campers completing grades 8 and 9 must attend the full season. Rookie Week is a one-week introduction for rising 2nd and 3rd graders, limited to eight campers per side.
