Broadway Summer Camp at PlayhouseSquare

Playhouse Square in Cleveland, Ohio runs a week-long Summer Theater Intensive, previously promoted as Broadway Camp for Teens, for high school-age students. The program concentrates on triple-threat musical theatre training across the acting, voice and dance disciplines. Master classes and rehearsals are led by a faculty of respected entertainment professionals and local teaching artists, and the week culminates in a showcase performance for family and friends in one of Playhouse Square's historic theatres. There are no formal age restrictions to participate, but the fast-paced intensive requires focus, professionalism and prior triple-threat training, so it is aimed at students who already take acting classes, vocal lessons and/or dance study. Playhouse Square is located at 1501 Euclid Avenue in downtown Cleveland.
