Theatre summer camp in Schenectady, NY
Broadway Camp Jr. is a one-week musical theatre camp for ages 11-14 run by the Collaborative School of the Arts at Proctors in Schenectady, New York. Led by working industry professionals, the week combines acting, singing and dancing, with days spent on show tunes, choreography and acting technique in a supportive environment aimed at intermediate-level students. Two identical sessions are offered each July in the Addy Theatre at Proctors, each ending in a Friday afternoon showcase performance for family and friends; campers also leave with a professional headshot. The 2026 theme, "Growing Up," invited students to explore the excitement and challenges of finding their place in the world. Tuition assistance is available.
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Addy Theatre at Proctors. Showcase performances at 4 p.m. Friday, July 10 (session one) and 4 p.m. Friday, July 17 (session two). Experience level: intermediate. 2026 theme: "Growing Up." Registration is closed for 2026.
