Sutton Foster Plays Joe's Pub, 1/24

Broadway star Sutton Foster (Shrek), will perform in concert next month at Joe's Pub on January 24. Foster, who recently starred as Carrie in the industry reading of Carrie: The Musical, will next play Nurse Fay Apple in the City Center Encores! production of Anyone Can Whistle. The Joe's Pub concert will begin at 11:30 PM.
The evening will be a preview of Foster's upcoming concert tour. She will perform songs from her debut solo album 'Wish' (Ghostlight Records), as well as some new tunes added specifically for her tour.
Foster's Broadway credits include Thoroughly Modern Millie (Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Astaire awards), Shrek (Tony nomination), The Drowsy Chaperone (Tony nomination), Little Women (Tony nomination), Young Frankenstein, Les Misérables, Annie, The Scarlet Pimpernel and Grease!. Foster's regional and tour credits include What the World Needs Now, Dorian, Three Musketeers, South Pacific and The Will Rogers Follies.
