Click below to watch Alexander Sage Oyen perform "Funny", a cut song from the song as a promo for Oyen's 54 Below concert version of his song cycle Moment by Moment, coming up on August 31 at 11PM!

Moment by Moment is a collection of musical theatre short stories comprised of songs by Alexander Sage Oyen about love, cults and McDonalds. The concert offers a vibrant, realistic, and fresh look at what it is to be a young adult in today's world, told through Oyen's musical styling. The talented young cast includes Emma Hunton (Spring Awakening, Next To Normal), Jason Gotay (Bring It On), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia!) , and George Salazar (Godspell, Here Lies Love).

Join Oyen as he presents his world premieres and fan favorites. Oyen says, "Moment by Moment, in essence, is a show comprised of musical theatre short stories. However, if you look closer, you can find that each story teller has an arc and their own individual story to tell. This concert is such an amazing opportunity to continue a long term collaboration with my incredible musical director, Benjamin Rauhala, but also to work with some incredible talent that I've been hoping to hear on my music for so long. The show will have some world premiere tunes in it and some brand spankin' new orchestrations. Also, this is the beginning of something- the piece will be having its international premiere in February 2014 and from there- who knows? But this is the first time that anybody will get to see this show and with a cast as dynamite as we have? I don't think this is something that people want to miss."

The concert is directed by Brandon Ivie and produced by Lina Renzina. 54 Below is located at 254 W. 54th Street. For tickets, visit 54below.com for tickets and other details.
