REMIX: ETHNIC CHAMELEONS Comes to the Duplex This December

A one-night only original cabaret, "ReMix: Ethnic Chameleons", will be presented on Tuesday December 5th at 9:30pm at the Duplex Theatre and Cabaret, 61 Christopher Street.

"ReMix: Ethnic Chameleons" will present musical theatre classics, and original mash-ups and medleys framed to reflect and celebrate the trials and tribulations of being a mixed race performer in modern America. The cabaret features Rebbekah Alson, Kelsey Ryan Moore, Chrissy Pardo, and Tony Ramos singing MT staples and pop songs like "Suddenly Seymour", "Mr. Know It All" and "Back To Before" as well as original mash-ups like "What's the Use of Lovin" (What's the Use Of Wonderin'/Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man). Directed by Deven Kolluri with music direction and original arrangements by Dan Pardo.

"This cabaret is so unique because we have been able to create a full blown narrative by utilizing each of these actors' individual stories. I can't wait for the audience to be a part of the journey that these incredibly talented actors have discovered. I've asked them to look inward for answers to outward focused issues and the result is essential, enlightening and magical." -Deven Kolluri

Tickets are $10 each online ($15 at the door) with a 2 drink minimum and can be purchased online at www.purplepass.com/remix1205.
