Jim Caruso's Cast Party and TheaterMania.com presented "The Music of Jeremy Schonfeld" at Broadway at Birdland on Monday, October 29 at 7 PM.
For one night only, top Broadway talent joined Jeremy to present his songs. The concert included songs from Schonfeld's CDs "Blue Skies" and "All and Drift" as well as previously unreleased originals and songs from forthcoming projects. Tony Award-winner Jarrod Emick, Dave Barrus, Julie Danao-Salkin, Christian Campbell, Adam Jacobs and Amy Spanger were among the guest who joined Schonfeld in the Birdland performance.
"Schonfeld's singular blend of tuneful pop, hard-edged rock, gospel, soul and blues has drawn comparisons to Billy Joel, Jonathan Larson, and Marc Cohn, and has made him one of today's most sought after singer/songwriter talents and musical theater composers," declare press notes. Schonfeld attended the Berklee College of Music and participated in the BMI Lehman-Engel Musical Theater Workshop.
Following the concert was Jim Caruso's "Cast Party." Birdland is located at 315 West 44th Street; www.birdlandjazz.com.
