The historic stage at Birdland was the spot that Broadway's Christopher Sieber chose to make his nightclub debut, which happened on Monday, September 2. The musical director for the evening was Joey Chancey, Eric Love was on cello, and the entire evening was directed by Fred Bracken. Check out a look back at Sieber's performance below!
Sieber's show included hilarious conversation, as well as songs from his successful stage career, including "Song On The Sand" and "I Am What I Am" from La Cage Aux Folles, "Who I'd Be" from Shrek, "Issue In Question" from Triumph of Love, "Agony" from Into the Woods, "Song That Goes Like This" from Spamalot, "Here I Am" from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, as well as favorite pop songs like "Daydream Believer." The packed house included Sieber's family, friends, and former cast-mates, including Cheyenne Jackson, Ray Lee, Dan Jenks and Jess Cagle.Photos by Seth Walters
