McGonnigal and Joe's Pub Present Broadway Loves Country
Jamie McGonnigal and Joe's Pub present Broadway Loves Country, the next in the "Broadway Loves" Series, following two sold-out rockin' evenings of Broadway Loves the 80's! The concert will feature a truckload of Broadway stars sangin' their hearts out to their favorite country tunes!
Directed by McGonnigal and Xanadu's Marty Thomas, with Music Direction by Randy Redd (Ring of Fire, Parade), Broadway Loves Country will take place on Sunday, June 1st at 11:30PM at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette Street).
The one and only Mo Rocca (VH1's I Love the 80s, ...Speling Bee) returns to host this event following his fantastic appearances in the first two Broadway Loves the 80's concerts!
Performers scheduled to appear include: Whitney Bashor (Fantasticks, Whistle Down the Wind), Nick Blaemire (Cry-Baby, Glory Days), Matt Cavenaugh (A Catered Affair, Grey Gardens), Tracy Jai Edwards (Legally Blonde), Chris Jackson (In The Heights, Lion King), Kyle Dean Massey (Xanadu), Lea Michele (Spring Awakening), Marty Thomas (Xanadu, Wicked), Katie Thompson, and Clarke Thorell (Hairspray, Lonestar Love).
A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit Free Arts NYC. Free Arts NYC is a volunteer-based nonprofit established to bring the healing power of the arts to children and families who face poverty, homelessness, and other risk factors. For more information, visit www.freeartsnyc.org.
All seats for Broadway Loves Country are $30. For Tickets, call 212-967-7555 or visit www.joespub.com; or in person at The Public Theater Box Office from 1pm to 6pm and at Joe's Pub from 6pm to 10pm (both located at 425 Lafayette St.). For table reservations call 212-539-8778. Purchase of tickets does NOT guarantee a table reservation; you must call to reserve seats. Seating, as well as standing-room, is available only on a first-come, first-served basis for all shows without a dinner reservation. Two drink or $12 food minimum per person is standard.
