MYKEL'S KASHMIR NIRVANA - UNPLUGGED Plays Just A Piano Series at the Triad Tonight, 9/15
Tonight, September 15th at 7pm, innovative entertainer, Mykel delivers "Mykel's Kashmir Nirvana- Unplugged," his smooth-as-"cashmere" concert, unplugged with Just A Piano at The Triad Theatre, 158 West 72nd Street. This evening also features a message as Mykel, a survivor of a near fatal hate crime, inspires us to rise above adversity and affect social change. Mykel states, "I can't stop thinking about - or finding ways to make a difference so that one less person is hated for being different."
"Mykel's Kashmir Nirvana- Unplugged," reaches "nirvana" laced with levity as Mykel takes on numerous characters as he relives tales of thirty-five different roommates (over time) in a one-bed room apartment!
No stranger to audiences, Mykel's performances cover a wide range from flagging for a non-profit called SWISH! – a LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer) rights movement resource, to theatre credits such as Jesus Christ Superstar (with Ted Neely), Dreamgirls directed by original Broadway cast creatives, TV's America's Got Talent- Season 5, singing before celebrity judges, an appearance on the Style Network's "The Glam Fairy" and he is featured in the documentary, "A Flow Affair!"
"'Mykel's Kashmir Nirvana- Unplugged' moves people emotionally and inspires them to take action in the world as survivors," says Mykel. Don't miss "Mykel's Kashmir Nirvana- Unplugged!"
